How we store and use your information Personal information
As a general rule, you can visit our website without having to provide personal details. Our web server records for un-registered users no usage data except non-personal activity. This anonymous data is used only internally and its analysis gives us information as to how to optimize the service.

If you make use of particular services on our website or use the MedPhoto App, then personal details are required and you need to register as user. We undertake to utilize this personal information like name and E-Mail address with care, i.e. exclusively for the purposes intended. You can be provided with information about this data. This information will be provided after submission of a written request accompanied by a copy of the ID card or other acceptable proof of identity of the person concerned. The following applies to users of the MedPhoto Mobile App: the exchange of date is transmitted using SSL encryption. The information is deleted from the mobile device immediately after successful transmission. Equally, the data is, after successful processing on our servers, transmitted on a secure channel to the provided E-Mail address and deleted subsequently from our servers. We keep no copies of the data submitted by you.

MedPhoto and its legal representative cannot provide any backup of transmitted data for whatever purpose. MedPhoto may limit the acceptable E-Mails to approved secure E-Mail domains, e.g., recognized closed medical networks.

MedPhoto is subject to the guidelines governing a medical practice; all internal and external employees of MedPhoto are strictly bound by the requirements of patient confidentiality.

The statistical evaluations required for analyses are made with anonymized data only. User specific data contains only number of uses of MedPhoto App, time stamp and size of transmitted files in order to track usage for charging purpose and to identify inappropriate usage.
